Mr. Bipin Lama is native of Gatlang, a marginalized northern village of Rasuwa district in Nepal. Mr. Lama has a long story of struggle in his life. He attended the local school and went to Ratna Rajyalaxmi Multiple College where he completed his bachelor’s degree in sociology. In the early days of struggle, Mr. Lama worked in torusim industry as ordinary labour in different positions and then later as a treking guide since 2008. He started working for local communities since 2005 as a volunteer and social worker. Later he established RTEES-Nepal to provide stronger input to his community and other communities in his district. He has extensive experience of managing community level projects in the areas such as rural enterprise development, agriculture, agroforestry, conservation, education and health/sanitation. Now, he is also serving as the Managing director of a trekking agency in Nepal called White Lotus Adventure Pvt. Ltd. Mr. Lama is looking forward to join hands with national/international agencies, experts, donors, multilateral agencies, students, universities and other stakeholders to develop the mountain communities with specific focus on development of eco-tourism, agriculture, health, education and environmental conservation.
Sweeta started working with RTEES Nepal since September 2015. She is local resident of Kathmandu and holds a bachelors degree in Accounting. Sweeta is highly interested in working for rural mountain communities with high poverty.
Jhyarti has years of practical field based knowledge and experience on the areas like conservation of natural resources, poverty reduction, Human rights, water resource and environment. He is local resident of Haku VDC in Rasuwa district. He have completed his high school education from Kathmandu. Currently he have been working as a assistant field officer with RTEES-Nepal since June 2015.
Suje resides in Gatlang and have completed his bachelors degree in rural development. He started his job as social mobiliser with RTEES-Nepal who is now the field technician and officer for most of the projects in Rasuwa district. He started working since 2010. He holds years of implemented field level experience in the sector of agriculture, nursery management, social mobilization, biodiversity conservation and forestry.
Sunila is from Dada-Gaun, a small village in Rasuwa district. She has been working as a social mobilizer with communities since January 2016. She has completed her high school degree from kathmandu. She is highly enthusiastic in working for rural mountain communities specially for women and children.
